The hugely anticipated, and concluding movie to the Harry Potter saga, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, continues to keep our excitement flowing, with two new wide-spread banners for our viewing pleasure. The first banner (above), and also my favourite out of the two, shows a huge duel, depicting the Battle of Hogwarts, clearly focusing on Harry (Daniel Radcliffe), and Voldermort (Ralph Fiennes). This banner shows many characters, and also the darkness and violence that is to be expected of the movie.
The second banner (below), focuses more on the mystical side of Harry Potter, showing the main trio, Harry, Ron and Hermione, riding what seems to be a huge dragon. You can tell from this banner alone, that the action sequences, as well as the special effects in the upcoming movie, will be outstanding.

The Deathly Hallows Part 2 will be out on cinema screens on the 15th July; less than a whole month away! And I’m sure everyone’s excited about this one.

Harry Potter director describes filming final emotional scene with trio.

It seems that working together on a massive film project is just as emotional for the actor/actress than it is for the character you are playing – this piece of news caught my interest. Harry Potters’, Hermione Grangers’ and Ron Weasley’s last scene in the series of films. Its been a massive journey for both actors and characters and it must have been an eye watering act when it came to their final scene. The last scene with the trio was revealed by David Yates the director, he described: “”We shot the scene on the viaduct, outside Hogwarts, and it was really peaceful. It was a really sunny day. It was all backlit.
“And it’s a very tender scene where they sort of reflect on everything that’s happened, all the battles and everything, and they hold hands, and the camera falls away. It’s a really tender, lovely scene.”
The first film, Harry Potter and the Philosophers stone was released in November 2001 and since then has become a massive box office success and also a long adventure for the production team and actors/actresses involved for 10 years.
David Yates continued “I said to them, ‘Look, guys, this is the last scene we’re all going to do with you three together in front of the camera. So, it’s not just the last scene of these three characters in the movie, this is your last scene in this series of films. That’s what today is about.’ And it infused it with a kind of emotion which was really moving actually.”
We all hope that part 2 ends brilliantly the way the series deserves.
Here is the trailer, the film will be released in cinemas in the UK and US on July 15.
