Here’s an image of the Batpod for the upcoming Batman finale in Christopher Nolan’s trilogy:

Here is another image, of the caped crusader on-set, in full costume:

Pretty exciting stuff, huh? Here is a small video of an apparent explosion in a prison riot on the set, too:

Here is another recent image, depicting a battle between Batman and Bane. As you can see, there are police officers and prisoners fighting amidst them, so it may be a scene which is part of a huge prison break caused by Bane:

The Official The Dark Knight Rises Trailer – Watch Now

A few days ago we supplied our fans with a fuzzy, bad quality teaser trailer that was leaked all over the net after the high quality trailer was banned all across the net. Finally, the trailer has been officially released for all of us Batman fans and so we’ve decided to show you the trailer in top quality.

The trailer begins, with the Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures logos, before footage of Batman in Batman Begins is displayed, with a voice-over from the main villain in Begins, Ra’s Al Ghul (Liam Neeson), mentioning ‘what Bruce must become’. The trailer continues, showing a caption, “Every Hero Has A Journey”, and then, “Every Journey Has An End”.

The trailer then sees Commissioner Gordon (Gary Oldman), who appears to be laying in a hospital bed, seeming a bit run down, with him talking to Bruce Wayne (Christian Bale), stating they are, “in this together”. Gordon then begs for Batman to return, before the trailer moves forward to a scene of Bane (Tom Hardy), before the camera scales a large building, moving up to the sky, showing the image we all know, the Bat logo. (see image, top right)

Well, here is the trailer for all of you to see:

The Dark Knight Rises Gets Big Cameo

Christopher Nolan

Image via Wikipedia

WARNING: The following information contains details on a spoiler which will appear in the upcoming Christopher Nolan movie, The Dark Knight Rises, detailing a massive cameo which will be appearing in the movie. It is quite a big cameo, so if you do not wish to know anymore on the topic, I advise you to turn away, now.

The latest news in, which, unfortunately for me and every other Batman fan, was unable to stay under wraps, is that a huge cameo will be appearing in the currently filming, The Dark Knight Rises, and those of you who have seen Batman Begins, will particularly enjoy this.

Liam Neeson, has been spotted filming a short scene on The Dark Knight Rises set, who played Ra’s Al Ghul in the first Nolan installment in the Batman trilogy, Batman Begins. However, reports say only a short scene was filmed, before he left to attend the New York Broadway Premiere of Spiderman on Tuesday evening.

Like I, and many others, have speculated in the past, I always had a feeling that they would involve the character of Ra’s once again, especially with him somewhat being known as an immortal or supernatural character in the comics. Josh Pence, will be playing a young Ra’s Al Ghul in flashbacks in the upcoming movie. Talia Al Ghul, the estranged daughter of Ra’s in the comics, will also be appearing in the upcoming movie, so perhaps her appearance may tie in with the cameo of Ra’s. And, as Ra’s is considered as having supernatural methods, as mentioned in Begins, maybe he may come back to share this idea of being able to bring people back to life, which, in effect, may have adverse affects on Wayne/Batman, whose parents were killed.

Ra’s, who appeared to have died in Batman Begins, although somewhat ambiguously, will definitely be a brilliant role in the upcoming movie; it’s just a shame that Warner Bros. failed to keep it hidden, ruining this great surprise for all of us poor victims who just can’t turn down a juicy Batman spoiler..

The Dark Knight Rises Update: Josh Stewart Joins Cast

The latest ‘The Dark Knight Rises’ news is that actor, Josh Stewart (‘The Collector’) has been added to the cast of the up-coming Christopher Nolan Bat-flick. However, his role is currently down as unspecified. Reports also indicate that Stewart will be the last person to join the cast for this movie, meaning that a bigger picture of the movie and its storyline as a whole may be easier to build and speculate on. It’s nice to know that the cast is finally complete, and whether Stewart’s role will be of any importance or not, this movie will be amazing, and I cannot wait for it.

Although the main roles in the movie seem to be taken, it doesn’t seem like there would be any space for Stewart to have a largely significant role anyway; however, Nolan is known to always have a few tricks up his sleeve…well, I say tricks, but I really mean amazing surprises…

The Dark Knight Rises, will amongst others, star Christian Bale (Batman/Bruce Wayne), Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle/Catwoman), Tom Hardy (Bane), Gary Oldman (Jim Gordon), and Michael Caine (Alfred Pennyworth). The movie is expected to his the big screens on 20th July of 2012.

The Dark Knight Rises: Batman and Bane Fight Scene Leaked?

If you do not wish to know anything about The Dark Knight Rises story then do not read any further. Possible SPOILER ahead:

The latest news has it that details of a fight scene between Batman (Christian Bale) and Bane (Tom Hardy) has been leaked online. The information continues, claiming that in their first battle, Bane will break Batman’s back, leaving him paralysed. This information has been released from Website Comic Book Movies, who claim this given information is ‘from a completely reliable source’.

Well, although there has been a lot of speculation around this topic online, I would rather not believe anything until I hear it from Nolan’s mouth, or confirmed from a named, officially credible source. However, seeing as there is a lot of focus on the encounters between Batman and Bane, there may be a lot of truth to it. Tom Hardy, will be playing Bane, who, after escaping from a prison, has his structure altered to an abnormal state with drugs.

The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit cinema screens on 20th July, 2o12. Stay tuned for the latest Batman news, and general movie news.

The Dark Knight Rises – Rumour, and Possible Plot Detail ( POSSIBLE SPOILER )

The latest news whirling around the internet on the upcoming Christopher Nolan flick, The Dark Knight Rises, concerns the character Bane (Tom Hardy). For some, this may be considered a plot spoiler, so here’s a warning – WARNING, POSSIBLE SPOILER AHEAD:

The latest rumour and possible plot detail relates to the DC Batman comics, specifically the story, Knightfall, claiming that in the upcoming movie, Bane may possibly break Batman’s back, leaving him paralysed. Readers of the Batman comics will know that in the  Knightfall story, Bane does indeed break Batman’s back, leaving him unable to walk.

To many Batman fans, this news may have already been considered, being speculated as soon as Bane was confirmed in the upcoming movie, and so as it may appear as a spoiler to some, it may not to others. However, do you think Christopher Nolan would follow the comics to such a degree? Although reports claim this rumour is from a trustworthy source, nothing has been officially confirmed yet. So, what do you think?
